MAKIA JACKET
For so long I wanted to post about this new spring jacket I bought (half with mom's money of course haha). It's a Makia jacket and I have a good feeling I will be wearing this jacket a lot. I love Makia's jacket collection as I have one of their winter coats. This one is long which is perfect for those cold autumn day's and I can fit good amount of clothing underneath so I if wanted I can wear it deep into the autumn/early winter, however it is perfect for these cold summer day's Finland surprisingly often has.

hey everyone!
I'm not dead or anything as you might think haha, I just haven't myself to post new stuff but here I am now. For the last couple weeks I've had a little bit of holiday off work and so on. I used that time to go out with friend's and nothing really anything out of the ordinary. Here's some pictures via from my instagram.
This weekend I was supposed to head off to Kotka my hometown for the Meripäivät festival, however I didn't feel to good after work and decided to stay home. But today I'm off to Tampere to celebrate Niko's birthday along with some other people so I'm excited for that!

JULY 4th
Here's a few picture's from Thursday when I attended the July 4th Party in Kaivohuone. Even my older brother showed up with his friends and of course I bumped into a lot of my other friends as well that night. We also got a ride to Kaivohuone in a old American convertible courtesy of the Sol (beer) promoters which was a great way to arrive into an American independence themed party.
This weekend I also helped out with my mom with here pop-up sales at our summer house and Saturday I was at my friends summer cottage in Northern Espoo. Back to work for me tomorrow!

MIDSUMMER'S/JUHANNUS
As I promised I would update about my Midsummer's trip to Juho's cottage with a bunch of my buddies and everyone else's, I am here to deliver it. I'm not going to say a lot other than, there was lot's of eating, laughing, saunaing, sun bathing, boating, drinking and all the other must do's that go with Midsummer's. We had a blast!
I'll try to come up with another post about my mom's sale last weekend and other stuff that's been going on, but I cant promise (finger's still crossed though!) , as I have a lot of running around to do as I'm promoting lot's of club nights in Helsinki. I have the task of selling some ticket's for this Thursday's 4th of July Party in Kaivohuone...so if anyone's interested just hit me up and I'll be there myself of course!

JUST WHAT I NEED
Hey, I'm back from my midsummer's trip or well have been for a couple days and I'll post about that later on this week (PROMISE!). In the mean time you I just have to talk about this since it's a huuuuuuuuge deal for me.
As you are aware my family came back last week and I decided to pay a visit for them straight from my midsummer's trip as I couldn't imagine anything better than coming home to mom and some home cooked food (not that there was food really, it's okay mom) and just being around the family since I haven't lived with them since 2009. Granted my family is kind of all over the place, little brother outside the whole day coming in late, dad working overseas and so on. But at least there's my little sister mom and our dog so it's nice and peaceful.
I just decided to do this quick post as I stayed over Sunday and Monday night and hoping (fingers crossed haha) that my mom let's me stay over more often like this as it's a nice change up from Juho's and he's families home.
Oh and so I don't forget my mom is having a sale of her.....''interior stuff'' (sorry mom again) in Helsinki , cant remember the location...my god I'm horrible at this but I know my mom's selling at 10am-1pm on Sunday since I've promised to help her out there! Just check her blog it's on the left side here and if not i'll update about it during this week!

LOOKING FOR MYSELF
hey hooo. So today I've come to realize some thing's and I've had a very random day on my own here at home just thinking about stuff going on in my life right now. What I concluded from all this.....I want to be a more positive with what I have and stop worrying about stuff that I shouldn't let affect me and let loose, and what better time for this is SUMMER!
It's been a really gloomy last week with rain and what not, last week I met up with friends and my buddies I haven't seen for what seems like ages (all my friends studying and living overseas particularly), so that's where my week went and work. Oh, and of course on Friday we went with Niko and Juho to see A$AP Rocky at Circus and it was SICK!!
I decided to make this post more summer heavy and oriented, basically pictures of me, what and where I have been during the sunnier days of this summer so far! and for everyone else I hope you guys can just reinforce on the positive in your lives and just make this summer just like you should make every summer never forgetful , take risk's, do dumb shit, have fun and best of all share that all with your loved ones! (p.s. my family is finally coming to Finland for the summer vacation this Tuesday, super stoked!)

SUMMER WEEKEND'S AWAY
heeeelloooo!
Last weekend I spent my first weekend away from the city at Juho's cottage (mökki) in Orivesi near Tampere, and all I can say is, I really needed that! I love it, ever since I've been young I spent mostly all my summers at my own cottage and lately I haven't been going other than with friends couple times in the summer and the occasional winter visit. I don't know why but I love being in the forest near a lake or sea where you get to grill your own food, warm the sauna with wood that you chop yourself, get water from the lake and just doing all the small chores that don't feel like chores at all. Of course being in my (eerhhhm) prime age we do unfortunately a lot of drinking there also but it's all part of the good times and memories (or whatever's left haha)
Other than being at the cottage Friday through Sunday, on Saturday we went to Tampere to meet up with a few friends and just hangout in general and enjoy the sunny day. We stopped for the necessary ice cream and just strolled through Hämeenkatu (main street in Tampere). I don't know what it is about Tampere but I really like it and I've been there only a few times! Anyways great weekend and can't wait to go back there in under two week's again with friends for Midsummer's (Juhannus).
